Work
Orders or "order to perform work" are a critical part of CIS that is
integrated and linked with many of our modules.
Additionally, Work Order Templates can be created to replace
instructional procedures such as maintenance and sanitation
instructions that are performed on a regular basis.
Work orders may be issued as a stand alone work order such as an
order to perform an inventory count. However, they can also be
issued as instructions when completing the disposition of a
nonconformity, customer complaint or near miss. When issued within a
module such as nonconformity, the work order is automatically linked
to the nonconformity record and will further record the man-hours
and materials including additional information and/or uploaded files
and pictures that shows the work was completed.
Work orders have due dates and these dates will appear on the
responsible manager's action list on their home page and on the
master calendar. Using CIS work orders ensures that all instructions
and work is completed on time.
There is even a report graph that reports man-hours per month for
each category of work such as re-work, maintenance and so on.
