Work Orders

  • Work Orders or "order to perform work" are a critical part of CIS that is integrated and linked with many of our modules.
  • Work Order Templates can be created to replace instructional procedures such as maintenance and sanitation instructions that are performed on a regular basis;
  • Work orders may be issued as a stand-alone work order such as an order to perform an inventory count;
  • Work orders may also be issued as instructions when completing the disposition of a nonconformity, customer complaint or near miss;
  • Work orders are automatically linked to the nonconformity record and will further record the man-hours and materials including additional information and/or uploaded files and pictures that shows the work was completed;
  • Work orders have due dates and these dates will appear on the responsible manager's action list on their home page and on the master calendar. Furthermore, late work orders will be reported on the late action item report;
  • When a due date is revised, the manager who issued the work order is sent a notification e-mail of the revised due date;
  • Customer or supplier can have access on-line to view, edit or add information to the Work Order module. The customer may use the Work Order to issue work or jobs. Note: The customer or supplier may only view their own related information and no other customers or supplier’s information and access levels and permissions are determined by the administrator of CIS (secure and safe);
  • Complete search engine to find records or groups of records by criterions selected or by key search words;
  • View records in column format (spreadsheet) or condensed summary format;
  • View information on-line from any computer or hand-held device connected to the internet (secured access);
  • Upload multiple files, movies or pictures to NCR record (no limits);
  • Work Order graphs and spreadsheets can be displayed, printed or downloaded into a .csv file. The reports may be presented by a from-to-date as follows:
