CIS integrates Nonconformity (NCR), Corrective Action (CAR), Customer Feedback (CF), Near Miss (NM) with each other and with Work Order (WO) and Inspection Modules.

The TOTAL integration of these modules provides for complete audit traceability and ease of use. It enables a user to input a nonconformity and decide to immediately create and issue a corrective action and/or work order to ensure disposition is completed. The links between the records are automatic and instantaneous.

Each record is linked to all applicable records such as an NCR linked with the associated CAR and Work Order to simplify access to information and traceability.

The work order link is a unique feature of CIS since it will provide the instructions for disposition such as rework and will schedule and follow-up with the responsible managers. Additionally, the work order will collect the man-hours and material  required to complete the work and report this on a monthly, weekly or daily basis.

In addition to the NCR, CAR, CF and NM tools for improvement, CIS contains a complete Preventive Action (PA) and Quality Objectives (QO) for Improvement Module. These modules further enhance the improvement tools within CIS and offer alternatives when the corrective action process fails or is simply not sufficient to resolve continuous process-related problems.

The Preventive Action Module is designed to be used for Risk Analysis and for Environmental Aspects and Impacts.

The quality objectives module is also a very useful tool for project management since a project, due date and criteria may be assigned and all managers working on the project can record log entries as they occur. This enables managers to stay current with the status of all projects.
